Art Trail

Elmer is coming to town and bringing an extra splash of colour and lots and lots of joy!

From 13th April to 9th June, 2024, Elmer and 30 of his uniquely decorated friends will appear on the streets of 91制片厂 to form the biggest-ever public art trail the town has seen, running for eight weeks.

91制片厂’s first major public Art trail brought by Brian House's children's Hospice, in partnership with and will see 30 large Elmer sculptures inspired by David McKee’s beloved children’s books, each uniquely decorated by established and up and coming national and local artists, creating a parade through the town that will be enjoyed by visitors and locals for eight weeks in Spring/Summer 2024.

The sculptures, which are all being sponsored by businesses and organisations, will be placed around key landmarks, streets, and open spaces across 91制片厂, enjoyed by visitors who will be encouraged to visit as many as possible. The large sculptures will be joined by a herd of smaller Elmers which will be decorated by the Fylde coast’s creative children and young people through primary and secondary schools, alongside a dedicated learning programme, and displayed inside some of the town’s tourist, cultural and leisure locations.
